Nina Heinz - Global head of Network & Quality, DHL
As Global Head of Network & Quality at Temperature Management Solutions at DHL Global Forwarding/, Nina Heinz works with her team to cover a wide array of quality matters in regulatory compliance, audits, training, partner management, customer complaints and continuous improvement.
Nina played a key role in the implementation of the global DHL Thermonet network of GDP-compliant life sciences stations, including the internal DHL Thermonet GDP guidelines, training programs and internal audit certification to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Nina is an active full member of the Pharma.Aero, a cross-industry collaboration for shippers, CEIV certified cargo communities, airport operators and other air cargo industry stakeholders.
She is also a member of the IATA Time & Temperature Working Groupas well as a member of the Steering Committee of the Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Interest Group (PCCIG) European branch within the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).
Nathan De Valck - Chairman – PHARMA.AERO/Brussels Airport Cie
Nathan is responsible for the business development and key account activities for airlines, forwarders and shippers at Brussels Airport, as well as the further development of the various specializations and products such as pharma, perishables, animal transport or e-commerce.
In his previous role Nathan took the lead in further strengthening BRUcargo’ s position as the preferred European pharmaceutical gateway. He co-authored the IATA CEIV pharma standard and managed the community certification program at BRUcargo making Brussels Airport the first cargo community in the world to be CEIV pharma certified.
In 2009 Andy set up AA Cargo Temperature Controlled Services EPXTC for the region, training 3,000 colleagues towards GDP compliance.
Nathan De Valck has been working in the aviation industry since 2002. His cargo experience ranges from operational management, legal compliance, business development to commercial account management at several airports in Europe for cargo handling agents and airport operators.
Nathan is co-founder and current chairman of Pharma.Aero and a full member of the IATA Time and Temperature Working Group.
Rita O' Sullivan - Head of Global Transportation, ZOETIS
A senior leader with over 20 years’ experience within Supply Chain in both the Pharmaceutical and Technology industries, possesses excellent leadership and communication skills evidenced by significant international achievements. Known for the ability to engage at C-suite level throughout the US, EMEA and Asia. Rita has worked in major global organizations such as Mylan, Microsoft, and Creative Labs, where she has always been focused on Supply Chain. In her current role, Senior Director, Global Logistics in Zoetis her focus is on leading a world class team supporting a $6.3B company which discovers, develops, manufactures and commercializes medicines, vaccines and diagnostic products, which are complemented by biodevices, genetic tests and precision livestock farming. Zoetis serves veterinarians, livestock producers and people who raise and care for farm and companion animals in more than 100 countries.
Rita holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool.
Ruud van der Geer - Assoc. Director Supply Chain Management, EMEA Product Handling, MSD
"Ruud van der Geer joined MSD Haarlem, the Netherlands in 2003 leading Packaging Engineering activities for Vaccine products including the development and implementation of temperature-controlled shipping solutions. He is currently part of the Global Supply Chain Management Deliver Team acting as the product Handling lead for the EMEA region. Responsible for temperature-control and monitoring strategies and innovations. Ruud holds a degree in Industrial Design and Business Administration and is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt
