May 09, 2016: The Cargolux Board of Directors has appointed Lars Syberg as the company’s new executive vice president Global Logistics from June 6, 2016. He will be responsible for company’s ground handling, warehousing and distribution activities.
Lars Syberg joins Cargolux from Zebra A/S – Retail, where he was responsible for the global supply chain. He has a 30-year background in the logistics industry with vast experience in global logistics and logistic procurement, transportation (sea/air/road), warehousing and logistics quality. He held senior positions at companies such as Molnlycke Health Care and DSV Transport A/S.
Owing to the strategic and financial importance of integrated door-to-door services for the air cargo industry and Cargolux in particular, the company has elevated Syberg’s position to EVP and Executive Committee level.
