Sept 12, 2016: Royal Air Maroc, launched three times weekly non-stop service between Washington Dulles International Airport and Casablanca on September 8 and will deploy the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The Washington, D.C. and New York-to-Casablanca flights, which are operated with a new generation Boeing 787 Dreamliner, will increase the seats offered in the United States by more than 40 percent.
Through its global hub in Casablanca, customers can seamlessly connect to destinations such as Dakar, Lisbon, Nairobi, and the popular vacation destination, Marrakesh.
“Royal Air Maroc is thrilled to launch the only non-stop service between Washington, D.C. and Casablanca. We are equally excited about deploying the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 on this important route; the spacious cabin interior allows our customers to move with ease and gives them a greater feeling of comfort,” said Abdelhamid Addou, Royal Air Maroc’s chairman and chief executive officer.
“Royal Air Maroc’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner service to Casablanca, Morocco, provides passengers another important destination from Dulles International, the region’s international gateway airport,” said Mike Stewart, vice president of Airline Business Development at Washington Dulles International Airport.
“This new service also allows passengers in the national capital region to easily connect to more than 90 other Royal Air Maroc destinations.”
