July 01, 2016: Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport invested in environment and in workplace health management with the new conveyor belt system ‘Power Stow’ that accelerates the loading and discharging processes at the airport.

The electrically operated luggage conveyor belt vehicles 'Power Stow' relieves the employee during the loading and unloading of the aircraft and reduces the impact of gas emissions.

In addition, two environmentally friendly electric passenger stairs will be used in the future.

"These investments will set an example for operating Health management and electromobility. Our employees benefit twice: Physical relief and clean air," says Marc Cezanne, CEO of Paderborn / Lippstadt Airport.

The conveyor belt system ‘Power Stow’ is characterised by an extended Roller conveyor belt that can be pivoted and variable up to 7.5 metres that may be introduced in the cargo compartment of the aircraft.
