Industrial Engineer Graduated in Business Administration and Diploma in Logistics (USA), before his current assignments Bruno has been Operations andCommercial manager in logistics services companies, having designed and successfully implemented regional distribution centers for global companies. He has also served as consultant to multinational organizations (private and public sector) in Strategic Planning and Management Control Systems.
Andy Faes - Regional Manager – Healthcare Vertical Europe, Expeditors
In 2014 Andy assumed his current position at Expeditors offices in Brussels, Belgium where he is primarily responsible for developing and managing the company’s Healthcare Vertical for Europe.
Andy started his logistical career in 1999 with American Airlines in various commercial roles for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Andy moved to London in 2007 to join their Cargo Division for EMEA and becoming chairman of American Airlines Cargo Sales Advisory Board.
In 2009 Andy set up AA Cargo Temperature Controlled Services EPXTC for the region, training 3,000 colleagues towards GDP compliance.
In 2011 Andy was transferred back to Belgium where he joined Envirotainer in a global role to manage a portfolio of Global Partners and Shippers by creating viable and sustainable logistics partnerships.A speaker of 5 languages, IATA CEIV certified and Licensed Expeditors GDP trainer, Andy graduated from Thomas More University Belgium with a degree in Supply Chain Management. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys tennis, running, cycling and yoga golf as well as spending time with his wife and two young kids
Steven Polmans - Director Cargo Brussels Airport / Chairman, TIACA
Steven Polmans spent most of his career in the world of aviation and held management positions, both operational and commercial, in the handling industry. On October 1, 2010, he joined Brussels Airport as Cargo Marketing Manager and on February 1st, 2012, Steven was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics. In this position, he is responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport. Since 2016, Steven was also one of the founding fathers of Air Cargo Belgium and the first chairman of this newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders involved. In August of the same year, Steven also joined the board of TIACA, The International Air Cargo Association, of which he became Vice Chairman in October 2017. On April 1st, Steven was promoted to Director Cargo & Logistics and amongst his new responsibilities, he is now also in charge of all cargo real estate development and portfolio management. In July 2019, Steven took over the role of Chairman at TIACA, a position he still holds today.

Benefitting from his operational experience, John ensures that all processes and procedures are carefully adhered to with a strong focus on the quality & safety of specialised products and commodities in the air transport industry. This also includes ensuring the continuity for all of Etihad Cargo’s Premium Products like TEMPCHECK (Pharmaceuticals), FRESHFORWARD (Perishables), LIVEANIMALS (Live Animals & Equine), FLYCULTURE (Priceless Arts) to name a few.
Furthermore, John manages the monitoring of these processes and procedures through trend analysis and investigations and also making changes by redeveloping and modifying these to the industry best practices while adhering to the highest standards of compliance and regulations implemented by the industry regulators. Accordingly, John has developed the Quality Management System for Etihad Cargo’s TEMPCHECK and FRESHFORWARD products obtaining the IATA CEIV certification for both and is now working on the 3rd certification being the IATA CEIV Live Animals."
