Michael moved to Dubai to take up the position as CEO of Dubai Logistics City in June 2005.

He has over 25 years experience in the Logistics industry and has held senior Executive positions with global logistics companies in the UK, Switzerland and Germany.

His management experience covers:

- customer relationship management
- developing and implementing supply chain solutions, including warehousing and distribution services by air, sea and land
- setting up and managing a 4PL operation
- development of logistics strategies for these global logistics companies
- strategic business development, financial planning and mergers and acquisitions.

Michael is a British citizen, has an MBA from Cranfield Business School in the UK, is a qualified accountant (FCCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport..
