Glyn Hughes has been involved in Air Cargo for over 30 years having started his career with British Caledonian in the UK. He joined IATA in 1991 and become IATA's Global Head of Cargo in June 2014. He has the overall responsibility to ensure IATA delivers on the agenda agreed by the Cargo Committee to support the Air Cargo industry. Priority areas include safety, security, quality, special cargo, operations, transformation and industry sustainability. He is dedicated to working closely with industry stakeholder partners through GACAG and other relationships to foster collaborative solutions such as the IATA / FIATA Air Cargo Program. A firm believer in supporting the next generation of industry leaders, Glyn spends a large amount of time on outreach programs with training and other educational establishments.
He previously headed the IATA Cargo Agency and Cargo Accounts Settlement System (CASS) programs growing the CASS network to cover more than 80 operations in over 75 countries processing more than 18 million AWBs with a combined settlement value in excess of USD 29 billion. Glyn is based in Geneva.
Russi comes from an aviation family and worked for a number of commercial airlines before joining aircraft charter specialist Chapman Freeborn in 1987.
He took over the management of Chapman Freeborn Germany in 1990, followed by the group’s worldwide cargo product in 2000. During his 30 years with the company he has been involved in setting up a number of key global charter operations including subsidiary businesses in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.
Since his appointment as CEO of the Chapman Freeborn Group in 2009, Russi has been instrumental in developing a vision and strategy for the company’s global expansion.
In addition to the group’s core aircraft chartering activities, Russi has overseen the strengthening of the company’s portfolio of subsidiary businesses which include hand-carry specialist Chapman Freeborn OBC, animal transport company Intradco Global, and flight operations provider Wings 24.
The group was further enhanced in 2017 with the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Magma Aviation – a specialist air cargo company operationally managing B747-400F aircraft.
He currently serves on the TIACA board of directors and remains passionate about the air cargo sector after more than three decades in the industry.
Steven Verhasselt joined Liege Airport as Cargo Development Manager Asia in 2006. Now he is the commercial director of Liege Airport, Belgium’s leading cargo airport. He is responsible for the global cargo development as core business, but is also in charge of passenger, real estate and Liege Airport Consulting. Steven is based in Asia, works for a leading European Cargo Airport in a global role.
Steven Verhasselt entered the aviation world in 2001 running a project to start up a cargo airline based in Brussels. The project led him to the Middle East and Asia. In 2003, when working on a project in Hong Kong, Mr. Verhasselt decided to stay there and start his own company, consulting airports, airlines and aviation related companies willing to develop business in Asia.
Steven Verhasselt graduated in Brussels, from Ehsal Business School with a Master Degree in Business Administration. He started working for the Regional Development Agency, focused on assisting startup companies with business plans, seed and venture capital. One of the projects he was assigned to lead him into cargo aviation.
Today, Verhasselt works for Liege Airport as Commercial Director responsible for global business development both cargo and passengers.
Shantanu Bhadkamkar is a Customs Broker & an International Freight Forwarder; in addition he is a manufacturer of rotationally moulded products.
Among numerous engagements in various trade organisations, he is the Chairman of ‘International Federation of Customs Brokers Association’ for the second term 2016-2018. He is the Immediate Past President of ‘Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture’, the apex chamber of the state representing 400 local chambers and trade associations, representing 700,000 businesses from diverse industries for the second term.
He is also a recipient of various awards. On the occasion of 60th World Customs Day, he has been awarded with the prestigious ‘Certificate Of Merit’ by the ‘World Customs Organisation’ (WCO) for his rendering exceptional service to International Customs Community. In 2015 he has been conferred with ‘Logistics Personality of the Year’ Award by ‘Maritime And Logistics Awards’ (MALA).
Graham Perkins joined Atlas Air in 2002 in Hong Kong where he managed the Asia Pacific region until his move to London in 2015. He is now responsible for the EMEIA region and all Atlas Air activities, including ACMI and Charter Sales and Marketing, customer relationships, operational performance and support as well as business administration and compliance.
Ramesh Mamidala is an Engineer with Master in Transportation Planning and MBA from Bradford University. He currently works as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Pvt. Ltd. He has been in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management industry for more than 25 years, and his association with global air freight industry is about 21 years old. He started his career as a Management Consultant with Eicher Consultancy Services in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He worked with Emirates Airlines Group in Dubai for more than 16 years in several roles that got him involved in design and development of several manual and automated air cargo terminals, air cargo automation systems and global special products. He was also associated with Celebi Delhi Cargo in 2012-13 as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) from where he went on to work with Qatar Airways Cargo as their Head Cargo Services in Doha wherein he successfully managed transition of new airport for Qatar Airways Cargo.

Manoj has rich experience of more than 26 years in Aviation. He has expertise in Customer Service, Warehouse Management, Ramp handling, Airport Operational Function, Perspective planning, Airline functions, Business Development, Airline contracts, Project Management and Logistic related issues.
Prior to joining MIAL, he was working with the Menzies Aviation Bobba Bangalore as Chief Executive Officer responsible for P&L of the Company. Within Menzies Aviation he had played a vital role of Commercial Manager – India + neighbouring countries and as General Manager-Cargo for its start-up Greenfield project in India namely Bangalore and Hyderabad, taking responsibility of Project development, Operations, Commercial, Safety & Security, IT & Business Development. He also worked with Lufthansa Cargo and Airports Authority of India.

Marcel Fujike has the overall responsibility for services, products and development within the global air logistics management team.
During the past years, Marcel has ben vanguarding the development and global implementation of various logistics solutions and standards within Kuehne + Nagel for several key industries like pharma & healthcare or aviation and invented and launched Kuehne + Nagel's eCommerce solution “KN FreightNet” which offers instant quoting, booking and tracking of air freight shipments.
In 2004, he joined Kuehne + Nagel at their global headquarter in Schindellegi / Switzerland.
He started his aviation & logistics career with Lufthansa working for LH Technik first and then joining the first generation of the Lufthansa management trainee program “ProTeam”. After seven years at Lufthansa Cargo going through international placements in London, New Delhi (establishing Lufthansa Cargo India), Singapore and Frankfurt, whilst holding various management positions, he started his own consultancy with some friends, having the focus on restructuring ailing airlines and airports.
Markus Muecke has held the position of Global Head Air Freight Procurement & Product Management for the intercontinental forwarding and logistics services provider Panalpina since 2009.
After he graduated from Swissair’s Air Traffic School in 1978, Markus garnered 40 years of international experience working in emerging and mature markets as a logistics and airline professional. Prior to his current role at Panalpina, Markus occupied several other positions at the company, including Managing Director for South Asia (1997-2004) and Managing Director for South China (2005-2009).
He has been recognized several times for the contributions he has made to the logistics sector, including being appointed a Chartered Fellow at Hong Kong’s Chartered Institute of Logistics. In addition, he is a member of the FIATA Air Cargo Institute and since 2017 part of the joint IATA FIATA Governance Board (IFGB).
Ryan Viegas is currently Head of Logistics – Asia Pacific at TEVA. Prior to the Teva integration, he was Vice President – Supply Chain & Procurement at Watson Pharma (Actavis) based in Mumbai, India
A chemistry graduate and an MBA, he has over 30years expertise in Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics with companies like Teva, Bayer, Sandoz, Matrix (Mylan) and Lupin.

Emir Pineda is the Manager Aviation Trade & Logistics for the Marketing Division of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, which operates Miami International Airport (MIA). His duties include marketing, trade analysis, logistics and facilities expansion and air service/route development.
Mr. Pineda’s career began at Miami International Airport in 1988as an intern, later being promoted to the position of Marketing Specialist. He recently re-joined the Miami Dade Aviation Department in September of 2015, after more than 20 years working in the public and private sector.
Mr. Pineda has enjoyed a long and diverse career path which includes: Director of Cargo Trade Development at DFW International Airport, later as a consultant at Leigh Fisher Associates, and then as Director of Marketing and Business Development for Air France/KLM Martin air Cargo where he also served on the Board of Directors of Tampa Cargo. Before returning to MIA, Mr. Pineda was the Commercial Route Development Manager for Cargolux, responsible for sales and operations throughout Latin America.
Mr. Pineda serves on the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Safety and Security Committee whose purpose is to promote applicable cargo security/safety communications between federal agencies and trade associations with the intention of maximizing the State of Florida ability to effectively compete for international trade resources while minimizing barriers for its members.
Mr. Pineda was raised in Miami, Florida and is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. In his spare time he enjoys sports, cycling, swimming and traveling.

After graduating from Galatasaray High School, he began studying at the Department of Management at Boğaziçi University. Later, he got his Executive MBA at Koç University.
He started his early career as the manager of the sales and logistics departments for the Koç Group’s affiliates in the automotive sector where he later became logistics manager.
He worked as the Distribution Operations Group Manager and Operations Director at TNT Logistics, where he had been involved since its establishment.
Between 2012 and 2014, he was occupied as Vice President of Business Development & Sales at CEVA Balkans-Middle East and Africa Region. Later in 2015, he was appointed to the position of CEVA Global Health Sector President. He served as the Managing Director of CEVA Logistics Middle East and North Africa region until he joined the Turkish Cargo family in 2016. He is now Chief Cargo Officer, in Turkish Airlines

Thomas ("Tom") Crabtree is regional director – Airline Market Analysis for Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle, a position he has held for 20 years.As regional director, Crabtree currently researches air cargo industry issues, with specific responsibility for serving airlines in the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). He is the primary author and chief editor of the Boeing World Air Cargo Forecast.
The forecast is published in even-numbered years and is considered a leading information resource for the industry. Crabtree’s expertise on air cargo trends also has played a key role in Boeing product strategy and product-development efforts.
Tom has been with the Boeing Company since 1991. While with Boeing, he has held positions in Sales Support Engineering, Flight Operations Engineering and Marketing. While in the Marketing organization at Boeing, he also has worked in Product Analysis and Airline Economics.
As an economic analyst, Crabtree built aircraft operating cost models for start-up carriers based in the CIS, VIP aircraft operators and all-cargo carriers.
Tom holds a bachelor of science in aerospace engineering and an MBA from the University of Kansas, and he received a certificate in Russian technical language translation from Novosibirsk State University in 1989.
Jacob Matthew is President of Middle East and Pacific Rim for National Air Cargo. He is also a Board Member for National Air Cargo Group which owns both National Air Cargo and National Airlines. More than 27 years in the Air Cargo and Aviation Industry. Felix has more than 17 years of industry experience. He started his career in the junior executive programme of Fraport AG. Afterwards, he joined the Retail & Properties department of the company taking responsibility for commercial and real estate development projects at Frankfurt Airport and at various airports of Fraport’s international portfolio. In 2015, he took over the position Vice President Cargo & Logistics having already been working closely with the air cargo industry in the previous years. Since October 2017, he is Senior Vice President Cargo. In this role, he is in charge of the overall cargo development at Frankfurt Airport overseeing that the airport strengthens its position as one of the leading air cargo hubs in the world.
Felix holds an M.Sc. in civil engineering from Karlsruhe University of Technology, Germany and an executive MBA from University of Nottingham, England.

A Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management and Research and working for Air Freight Ltd. In Madras, Keku moved to Dubai, UAE in 1991 to work for AL Rais Cargo a GSA, Charter and forwarding specialist.
Commercially and operationally he was responsible for the cargo activities as GSA of Kenya Airways, Oman Air, Yogoslav Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Iran Asseman Airlines, Air Malawi, Canadian Airlines, Continental Airlines and Iberia.
In 2001, as Regional Cargo Manager – Middle East and India, he was part of the Start up of Kencargo Airlines a JV between KLM, Martinair and Kenya Airways and set up the Regional Head Office in Dubai, UAE covering the Middle East and the Indian Sub-Continent. During this time he was also responsible for the commercial activities of Martinair as its GSA.
In 2003, Martinair decided to make Sharjah, UAE its Regional Hub, second biggest after its home base of Amsterdam.
Gazder was appointed as the Director – Middle East, India and South Asia and was made responsible for almost 30+ weekly freighter movements in addition to Seasonal Passenger Charter flights across the MEISA region.
He was part of the team that was instrumental in Opening the online stations of Beirut, Dammam, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Kuwait, Chennai and Dubai world central while offline offices were opened in Karachi, Dhaka and Colombo.
In 2011, upon Air France acquiring KLM, Gazder was appointed as Deputy Director-SPL Freighters for Air France –KLM Cargo and Martinair Cargo for the Middle East and the South Asia Region.
In 2012, after being in the Middle East for over 21 years, Keku decided to return to India to give his 2 boys an Indian cultural and economic experience.
He joined Saudi Arabian Airlines to head the region and was appointed Regional Director-Cargo Indian Sub-Continent where his commercial and operational responsibility covers India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. With an operation covering 126 passenger and freighter movements per week in the region it is only second to the Home Region, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After 4+ years with Saudia Cargo and since September, 2016, he was moved into an Advisory and Consulting role advising existing and startups in the aviation industry.

Steven Polmans spent most of his career in the world of aviation. For 15 years, he held management positions, both operational and commercial, in the handling industry at various airports and in a variety of sectors. On October 1, 2010, he joined The Brussels Airport Company as Cargo Marketing Manager. His main job as key account manager was to assist airline customers in their operations at Brussels Airport and to explore business development opportunities.
On February 1st, 2012, Steven was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics. In this position, he is responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport. He leads the cargo team and heads the different projects to further strengthen BRUcargo into Europe’s most efficient cargo airport. He is also in charge of maintaining the relations with the different cargo stakeholders, government agencies and strategic partners in close cooperation with the cargo management team.
Since 2016, Steven is also the first chairman of the newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders involved: Air Cargo Belgium. In August of the same year, Steven also joined the board of TIACA, The International Air Cargo Association, of which he became Vice Chairman in October 2017.

Anis has completed his MBA in 1989 from Arkansas State University, and has been a serial Entrepreneur who relentlessly initiated recent start-ups, recently launched the ride-hailing app, Obhai (www.obhai.com), invested into Tea & Rubber plantations & major Tea brand “Finlay Tea”, owns a majority stake in Eastern Bank, a wholesales, and Retail Bank listed in Dhaka Stock Exchange.
Ahmad Luqman is the CEO for MAB Kargo, a subsidiary of MalaysianAviation Group which focuses on air cargo business. He is an air cargo professional with 20 years of experience in cargo operations as well as sales with P&L responsibilities. Ahmad Luqman excels in data analytical skills, strategy formation & implementation and he is a team leader with strong sense of ownership. In MAB Kargo, he has served various positions covering cargo terminal operations, system operations and sales. In sales, Ahmad Luqman deals with shippers and freight forwarders where his role involves providing customized business processes to meet industry needs and demands. He was also instrumental in developing and implementing cargo processes for the Advanced Cargo Centre in KLIA as well as the Penang Cargo Centre.

Keshav Tanna is a professionally qualified logistics Industry veteran with over 2 decades of expertise in the Air Freight Forwarding Industry.

Mr. Pukhraj Singh Chug is the founder of Group Concorde, which emerges from the forwarding industry into a successful Airline Representation business establishing and introducing as a GSA to India for airlines such as Korean Air, China Airlines, Air China, Fly Dubai, Ethiopian Airlines, Fedex, Air Asia, Mega Maldives, Centurion Cargo, Turkish Airlines Cargo, Malaysian Airlines Cargo, Qatar Airways Cargo, South African Airways, and many more.
Mr. Pukhraj Chug holds a key position in Group Concorde. Mr. Chug is widely travelled and has been participating in key international forums discussing the future of Aviation and related businesses in the world. This has resulted in his strong experience, enabling innovative scanning and assessment of new business and technology trends and opportunities worldwide.
Mr. Chug possesses firsthand knowledge of the industry. His prime responsibilities are establishing foreign airlines in India and developing them vis-a-vis their market potential for Cargo and Passenger both. He is responsible for senior level relationships with both existing and new Principals and Clients.
Mr. Teddy Zebitz brings with him over 30 years of unrivalled exposure in the transportation, aviation, logistics, and crisis/emergency management sectors. Heis an international profile with both very sound industry knowledge andstrong entrepreneurial skills.
Prior to joining Saudia Cargo, Teddy held key management roles in topnotch global companies. He speaks fluent English, Swedish, German and Danish, and also manages time to lecture at the Copenhagen Business School to share his knowledge and experience.
As Kingdom of Saudi Arabia embarks on a new horizon with Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative, Mr. Teddy with his wealth of knowledge and expertise in various sectors and an impressive portfolio of positions held earlier will add tremendous value to the business.
Mr. Mark Sutch was appointed Regional General Manager - South Asia, Middle East and Africa in August 2017. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing all business and operations of Cathay Pacific Airways and Cathay
Dragon in the three regions.
Prior to this, as General Manager Cargo Sales & Marketing for Cathay Pacific, Mr. Sutch was responsible for commercial aspects of their global cargo business. Cargo revenue management, customer solutions, partnerships and all marketing and sales activities fell under his area of responsibility.
Previous roles held with Cathay Pacific include the positions of Manager Revenue Management for Europe, South West Pacific, South Asia, Middle East, Japan and Korea. Mr. Sutch was also the Country Manager in France, The Philippines and Sri Lanka and held an operational role within the Flight Operations Department.
Mr. Sutch joined John Swire and Sons in July 1997 and has spent most of his career seconded to Cathay Pacific Airways. Mr. Sutch was born in Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor degree from Durham University in the United Kingdom. In addition to being a permanent resident of Hong Kong, Mr. Sutch is a citizen of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
