Dany Kleiman is IAI Corporate Vice President
& General Manager BEDEK Aviation Group,
effective August 2006.
Prior to that, he functioned from 2003 as
the Production Division General Manager of
the IAI Commercial Aircraft Group.
In 1999, he founded the Business Jets
Programs organization within the Commercial
Aircraft Group where he served as its G.M.
The Business Jets Programs organization
managed the Galaxy and Astra Programs,
Special Mission Aircraft Programs, Product
Support for IAI business aircraft products,
and the Gulfstream 150 Development Program,
generating hundreds of millions of US$ in
revenues.
He rejoined the Israel Aircraft
Industries-Commercial Aircraft Group in 1997
entering the Galaxy Program Office, to be
appointed in 1998 Director of the Galaxy
Program within the Group.
In 1993, he became the Chief Engineer for
Israviation, responsible for the development
of the ST-50 small, turboprop, business
aircraft and in 1995, in addition to his
duties as Chief Engineer he also assumed
responsibilities as the Vice President for
Operations.
In 1991, at the end of his military service
in the I.A.F., he joined Bet Shemesh Engines
as the Marketing Manager and then moved to
Israel Aircraft Industries, Bedek Division,
Engine Plant as Project Manager for the
Barak engines.
Dany Kleiman (1960) earned his Bachelor’s
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, with
Honors, in 1983.
He is married and has 4 children. During
leisure time, he enjoys playing soccer and
also going on family picnics. |
